Hi everyone and thank goodness Friday has arrived! What a week and I'm so looking forward to the weekend. I'm off to see my Sister tonight over in Sutton Coldfield, haven't seen her since Christmas! So it will be great to have a catch up with her, booked a table at an Indian restaurant, so food and drink will be plenty and I will be travelling back on Saturday morning.

So this morning decided to have a bit of crafty time before setting off to work later as I won't get chance tonight!

  • DCWV Papers
  • Pearlescent Cardstock with Sizzix dots textured impressions folder

A Special Delivery

How exciting ...... when I got in from work today a nice big parcel had arrived ....... my new Big Shot Express and I just can't wait to get playing with it. My faithful original blue one has been well used and looks so dated compared to this.

I decided to treat myself and can't wait to use it with my texture plates, new dies and nestabilities!

Here we SNOW again!!!!!!!

Just when I hoped we had seen the last of it ........ more snow falls and actually today it is really heavy and settling well! I have just got back indoors and a hot chocolate is definitely in order. Here's a piccie from my front window.

I do wonder why it couldn't have waited until next week when the kids are back at school ..... I could have had a snow day!? lol. It seems the weather people predicted it wrong again, we were supposed to have a light amount and tomorrow is going to be no snow at all ...... well lets see shall we?

Tuesday Morning Sketches 33

My second challenge card I made was for Tuesday Morning Sketches No 33 and I am really pleased with how this card turned out. Unfortunately the camera hasn't picked up the vibrant tan colour of the card - it is actually the same colour as the ribbon, so you can't get a true picture!

Storage issues

Over the weekend I started to have a good sort out of all my craft items and get rid of anything I didn't want or no longer used and look at new options for storing certain items, preparing for my new craft room!

Yesterday my new storage bag arrived for my ribbon collection - its the best thing I've seen for ribbons in ages! The Pull-E-Z Ribbon Purse is available from craftsulove and comes in 4 colours and priced at £17.99 its a bargain. It holds up to 200 ribbons and they don't tangle when you pull them out. All you do is thread your ribbon through the holes and you have easy access.

Mines not even half full yet, so I may need to invest in some more ribbon, LOL!
