Sweet Stampin' DT Card - Try Something New

Good Morning!  I hope you all enjoyed the Royal Wedding yesterday!?  Don't Wills and Kate make a fantastic couple?

It's time for another challenge at Sweet Stampin' and the theme this week is to try something new!
So I had to get my thinking cap on .... there are quite a few techniques and makes that I haven't yet done, but I opted for Flock which was a freebie with a magazine quite some time ago and I stumbled upon it during another clean up session in the craft room.  To make the stripes I used double sided tape and then added the flock.  Here's my card:

Card Ingredients:

Wild Rose Studio Hey There Stamp
Flock
Double Sided Tape
Kanban Embossed Dots Cardstock
Promarkers
Personal Impressions Greeting Stamp, stamped with Brilliance Ink - Pearlescent Sky Blue
PM Gems

Our weekly sponsor is Tiddly Inks and one lucky winner will receive a $10.00 voucher.

And our monthly sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps and one lucky winner will receive 7 digi images of their choice.

We are also having a DT call, so if you are interested read the challenge blog carefully for full details on how to apply.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:-

I Love Promarkers No Designer Papers

I hope you will join in with us this week and look forward to visiting your blogs to see your creations.

Thanks for visiting.

  21. This is great Claire. I have never tried flocking either. Love the bright colours you have used and a great image. We managed to see the wedding up until they entered Westminster Abbey and then went off to our wedding....lol. I then caught up with the highlights as soon as I got home on Friday night. I think she looked absolutely stunning and think they make a lovely couple. Fingers crossed that they are left to have some privacy.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
