Love Hoot

Morning peeps - well I feel like I have already had a weekend off as I finished work on Wednesday and had Thursday & Friday off due to Teacher Days where I don't have to work, so it's lovely to have an extended one.  Just a pity about the miserable, cold weather we've got here in the Midlands!  Still I've had plenty of time for crafting and spent most of Friday making Valentine cards which will be sold in my hairdresser's salon.

And here is one of those cards:-

I'm entering this into the following challenges:-
Card Ingredients:-
  • Pink Gem Love Hoot Stamp
  • Papermania Love Colossal Papers
  • Promarkers
  • Heart Sequins, Glitter Brad, Die Cut Tag - From Stash
  • Greeting Stamp
Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you like what you see.

Flower Fairy

And my final post for this evening ...... phew!  This card is for Lili of the Valley 81 Sketch and guess what .... do you recognise the papers? LOL.  Unfortunately I had to take this piccie under my day light as the light in the house this morning was rubbish, so its not the best I'm afraid.

For this card I used:-
  • LOTV Fairies on Tiptoe Stamp
  • America Crafts Ribbon
  • Promarkers
  • V&A Hanovarian Linen Papers
  • Cardstock from Stash
  • Glossy Accents (On wings - but you can't see them very well!)
  • PM Pearls
I'm really pleased with this card and because I like it so much, I thought it would be perfect to enter into the DT call over at Creative Inspirations where I need to post a recent creation.  It would be a fabulous DT to be involved in and to be able to join a talented bunch of ladies, so wish me luck!

Right thats it - I am done for tonight.  I will be able to get into the craft room on Thursday and Friday as I have two teacher days and I don't have to work them, so a nice short week for me YAY!

Thanks for popping in tonight, see you soon!

It's time for a bit of fun.  I've entered a Pay It Forward over at Clair's blog so it's my turn now to Pay It Forward.

I promise to send something handmade to the first 5 people who comment on this post.  However, there is a catch, you must repost this, offering something handmade to 5 other people.  The rules state that it MUST be something handmade or homemade by YOU and must be sent to 5 other people during 2011.

If you would like to join in the fun, then be the first to post a comment and something handmade or homemade will be coming your way this year.

Well my lovely blogger friend Keryn decided to present me with a Stylish Blogger Award!  How lovely is that?

Good morning fellow crafters!  This is just a quick post before I head off to work.

My Sister and her partner of 18 months did the deed on New Year's Eve and they have got engaged, so my make for today is a card I have made for them.  They have both been married twice before and this time I think she has certainly found her match, he is just lovely and they are very well suited to eachother.

Sweet Stampin' DT Card - Try Something New

Good morning all and welcome to my first DT project with the Sweet Stampin' girls.  This week it's Team Fluff's turn and the challenge is to try something new, a new technique that you have not done before.

This wasn't a difficult one for me, as in my drawers sat a brand new heat gun, together with embossing powders and pens that I purchased months and months ago, but have never ever used until now! LOL.

And here is my creation!

For this card I used:-
  • Penny Black Poppy Poem Stamp
  • Heat It Up Crimson Red Embossing Powder
  • American Crafts Ribbon

I would love to hear what you think as always your comments are truly valued.

Hope you enjoy your day whatever you are up to.

First Christmas Card of 2011

Evening crafters.  Well it's nearly Friday and I've survived my first week back at work (school) LOL! and I am loving my new hours (except for the couple of full days which is only temporary!) but it's been hard getting up in the morning, so I will be looking forward to a nice lie in on Saturday.

Well I know we have only just got Christmas over and done with, but here is my first Christmas card for 2011!  Unfortunately I was struggling with the light today and the picture hasn't captured the deepness of the purples.

I have decided that I will be making a handful each month, which means I will be more prepared this year.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:-
Card Ingredients:-
  • Pearlescent Card Using Sizzix Spots Texture Plate
  • Glitter Paper & Die Cuts from Stash
  • Pink Gem Designs Funky Snow Girl Stamp
  • Promarkers
  • PM Gems & Glitter Dots
  • Frosted Stickles
  • American Crafts Ribbon
I'm really pleased with this one, so let's hope I don't lose the motivation to carry on with them LOL.  Enjoy the rest of your evening whatever you are up to.

3 January 2011

Well Thank You!

My second post for this evening is for the following challenges:-

  • Papermania Gems
  • Pearlescent Card using Sizzix Texture Plate

Before I go, I would like to say a HUGE welcome to my new followers - it's great to have you on board!

Enjoy the rest of your evening.
