Evening everyone.
Hope you have all had a great weekend, my day today started off nicely as I have lost another 1 1/4 lbs in weight, so that is 5lb in total now - but after 3 weeks, it's not a great amount, but still every little helps to get me in that wedding dress!
It seems a while since I have blogged a card that is not for a DT.
After hours on end making wedding stationery and favour boxes and starting to decorate them, I felt the need to make something that wasn't wedding or DT related, so managed to get into the craft room and make Mark's Dad's Birthday card. His Birthday isn't until mid February, but as they are out in Spain at the moment, I need to get it off in the post as soon as possible.

This is wonderful! Love the papers and the shadow you've added around the image which helps to anchor it. The button and twine are the perfect finishing touch.

What a cute card Claire and love that image!!!. Claire they say that if you lose weight steadily you are more likely to keep the weight off, opposed to losing it too quickly and gaining it all plus more weight. I reckon 5lb is good and considering you are not big anyway a steady loss is better hun. That's my opinion anyway!!!. Big hugs to you angel, love Clare xxx

I think it's a fact that if you lose weight slowly and steadily it tends to stay off, so you're actually doing really, really well. And it's such a fun card you've made for Mark's dad - I'm sure he'll love it. xx
