My 2017 Christmas Card Tally

19 October 2012

Kusudama Decoration

Afternoon peeps - so glad it's the weekend, it has been a long week!

My project today is one that was started when I went up to Yorkshire to meet my fellow Moving Along With The Times DT buddies.  Lisa thought it would be something fun and different to make.

I didn't get to fully finish mine on the day, so finished it off at home and here is the end result.

There are several photos in different lights to capture the papers and colours.

A close up, although you cannot really see the glittery edges.

I was going to put some gems in the centre of the flowers, but decided against this for now, I can always add them when I fancy a change!

 Kusudama Ball Ingredients:

Papermania Sunshine Capsule Collection Papers
American Crafts Ribbon
Beads from Stash
Ice Stickles

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Crafty Cardmakers Autumn
Anything Goes Make Your Own Embellishments
ABC Christmas U = Up To You
Fussy and Fancy 74 Anything Goes
Totally Papercrafts 139 Christmas 9 Weeks and Counting
Crafts 4 Eternity 94 Pumpkin Spice
Polkadoodles 42 Autumn
Winter Wonderland Anything But A Card

If you fancy having a go making one of these, the tutorial is here

Would love to know what you honestly think as your comments are always valued and appreciated.

Thanks for stopping by today.

  3. Wow! I think this is amazing, Claire. Fabulous colours but so unusual, too. You'd pay a fortune for something like this at an arts and crafts shop. Is it half term for you now? Enjoy your well-earned break! Hugs, Tracey x
